In a statement to Deadline, Clooney said: "The numbers are simply not true. We're getting paid less than half of what was reported. I don't know where these numbers come from, but they're completely false."
The actor did not reveal the exact amount of his salary for "Wolves," but he did say that it is "significantly less" than $20 million.
