Three Individuals Transported to Hospital with Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

On Thursday, November 10, 2023, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a motor vehicle collision on Oliver Road.

Collision Details

A preliminary investigation revealed that a westbound vehicle crossed the center line and struck an eastbound vehicle head-on. The impact of the collision caused significant damage to both vehicles.

Emergency medical services personnel attended the scene and transported three individuals to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with non-life-threatening injuries.

Road Closures

Oliver Road was closed between Arthur Street and Red River Road for several hours while police investigated the collision. The road has since been reopened.

Investigation Ongoing

The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Traffic Unit is investigating the collision. Charges are pending against the driver of the westbound vehicle.
